Interview Questions

I appreciate those of you who posted comments regarding interview questions asked.  I have some additional ones.

  • Why are you here?
  • Any problem working 45-60 hours per week?
  • What do you have to contribute to our legal team?
  • Why are you leaving your current position?
  • What do you consider to be your greatest weakness?
  • What is your ideal work environment?
  • What is it about this job that you are most interested in?
  • Describe a situation where you were unable to meet a deadline and how you handled it.
  • Describe a situation where you have conflicting deadlines and how you resolved them.
  • What type of management style do you prefer?
  • What do you have to offer that other paralegals don’t?
  • Tell me about a time when you solved a difficult problem without direction?

The possibilities are probably almost limitless; however, I think you can begin to work through some of these questions to see what your answers might be.  You may even want to write out some possible answers.  Writing is the best way to think things out logically.  I hope this has helped.  I am still interested in any questions that you found challenging to answer on the spot.  I am planning a future post on what types of questions to ask of the interviewer.
